Frequently Asked Questions The Feelers are a 3 piece band, originally from Christchurch, New Zealand. They are James Reid (vocals), Matt Thomas (bass) and Hamish Gee (percussion). Opshop guitarist, Tim Skedden, also plays guitar with the band at concerts. The best thing to do would either be to email James, or to contact them at: The Feelers PO BOX 68 - 324 Newton Auckland, New Zealand Just make sure to include a self addressed stamped envelope. There's too many to list here - please go to the lyrics page and click on the song you're looking for. Any information about the song, including meanings and interpretations is given there. Supersystem² (Supersystem Squared) was a re-release of the Supersystem album. It includes slightly different cover art, and a bonus CD which included the music videos for the singles off Supersystem, some photos, lyrics, and an 'interactive beatbox' for Pressure Man. It seems to have been a limited print, as these days the only version of Supersystem generally available in shops are the original. Again, please go to the music page. If there's a guitar / bass tab available for a song, it'll have a small icon They're coming soon. ;) If you have any, please email me and let me know. My current cellphone is a Nokia, so any ringtones posted in the future are likely to be for Nokia phones only. The Feelers seem to like to play unreleased songs at their concerts. As far as I know, this has more been for the Supersystem and Communicate tours, but is likely to be for the Playground Battle tour as well. A couple of these songs, namely Just Like You and Military Precision have ended up on albums, but The Feelers have a lot of songs. They also like to play some covers at concerts. An extensive collection of lyrics to all know unreleased songs and songs covered by The Feelers can be found on the music page. Any songs released by The Feelers have any releases of them on their lyrics page. The deffinition of releases I am using is everything from The Leaving EP onwards, as from what I know, this was the Feeler's first actual release. Earlier recordings (Crawk, The Red Tape, The Blue Tape and the RDU Sampler) seem to have been just recordings, rather than actual releases. Also, some singles contain album versions of songs. In this case, only the album track is listed, not the album version on the single. This is because Feelers albums are much easier to get ahold of than singles, and it just seems redundant to me to list the exact same version of a song twice. They travel around a lot - as soon as any tour dates are confirmed, they'll be posted on the tour page. Rumoured tours and concerts will be on the forum - the tour page is for confirmed concerts only. Please email me if you know of any (possible) upcoming concerts which aren't mentioned on the site. Yes, it is - it's off the Supersystem album. This site was originally run by Jared, who handed it over to me. At that time, as there were quite a few other Feelers fansites, this site only had lyrics and guitar tabs (hence the site name). Over time, the number of updated fan sites has decreased, to only this site (unfortunately), therefore, the amount of content on the site has greatly increased, and the site has subsequently become a general Feelers site, rather than simply a guitar tabs site. No. The official Feelers site is currently http://www.thefeelers.co.nz. I am not associated with The Feelers in any way - I am not part of the band, their crew, or their management. I am just a fan, like you. Any emails sent to me intended for The Feelers will be forwarded on to them, and whenever possible, I will try to answer any questions you may have. My email is pts@thefeelers.myhost.net.nz. If you have any comments, questions, concerns, information, or anything else you want to get in contact with me about, please don't hesitate to do so. Enjoy the site. |
