Site Information
Pull The Strings originally started of a simple Feelers fan site, with lyrics, guitar and bass tabs, and links. It was originally webmastered by Jared, and located at http://members.theglobe.com/thefeelers/index.htmlOne day, Jared sent out an email saying that he was giving up webmastering Pull The Strings, and asked if anyone wanted to take over. Having had a bit of experince with websites and HTML, I accepted. Jared emailed me all the files from the original site, and that was it. I found a different site to host the site (http://www.angelfire.com/rock2/thefeelers/), and pretty much kept the site how it was.
After a while, as I noticed that more and more Feelers fan sites which had been online in the past were either being taken offline, or were no longer updated, I decided to expand Pull The Strings, including News, Photos and Tour Info sections, among others. Around this time, I also redesigned the site to the black and white version which most visitors will be familar with.
As http://www.angelfire.com/rock2/thefeelers/ is quite a long URL, as the site continued to expand and gain popularity I tried to find something shorter. The site was briefly hosted at both http://thefeelers.virtue.nu, and http://thefeelers.dot.com. Shortly after this, I got an email from JJ, the owner of MyHost, who offered to host Pull The Strings on his site for free. I gladly accepted JJ's generous offer, and since then, Pull The Strings has remained at http://thefeelers.myhost.net.nz.
Having become bored with the site's design, which had been around for quite a while, I mucked around with some ideas for a while and eventually came up with this one. Hopefully it will last quite a long time.
